I don't know why, but I think it's pretty hilarious that the relative "meanness" of the judges has made national news.

I also thought both Fantasia and Taylor's appearance on Larry King Live was VERY good on Thursday night. Each had interesting answers about what it's like to be on AI, what it gave to them, and why it matters. I loved the entire hour, and frankly, I'm not really Larry King fan.

Program Note: American Idol WILL be on on Tuesday January 23rd, but it will only be an hour, 8pm-9pm EST to accommodate the President's State of the Union address at 9pm. It will go back to the 8-10pm two-hour show on Wednesday, January 24th.
